Abstract

A találmány szerinti eljárás radioaktív hulladékokban lévő hosszúéletű radioizotópok többlépcsős transzmutálását valósítja meg, melybenaz egyes lépéseket különböző neutronspektrum és neutronfluxusjellemzi, s ezek célszerű variálásával a transzmutációs hatékonyságnövelhető és a tartós tárolás feltételei javíthatók. A találmányszerinti többrégiós transzmutációs eszköz a találmány szerinti eljárásmegvalósítására alkalmas. Két kiviteli formája: többrégiós sóolvadékosatomreaktor és a gyorsítóval hajtott többrégiós sóolvadékosszubkritikus rendszer. Az eszközök felépítését az 10. és a 11. ábramutatja. Az egyes régiók (1, 2, 3) egymástól elszigetelt autonómcirkulációs körök részeként biztosítják a régiónkénti elkülönítettbesugárzást. A cirkulációs körök tartalmaznak egy-egy tágulásitartályt (5, 16, 27), hőcserélőket (9, 20) és keringetőszivattyúkat(10, 21). A gyorsító által előállított részecskenyaláb (45) lehetproton- vagy elektronnyaláb. A targetanyag ólom és/vagy bizmut, vagymaga a sóolvadék, amely a transzmutálandó izotópok hordozója. Ó
