Abstract

A találmány tárgya eljárások a természetes citoplazmikus hímsterilitásfokozására és a hímfertilitás helyreállítására, valamint ezeneljárások alkalmazása hibrid terménynövények előállítására. Szintén atalálmány tárgyát képezi egy eljárás citoplazmikus hímsterilitásúnövények hímfertilitásának helyreállítására, melynek során: a) növényisejt sejtmagjába olyan génkonstrukciót juttatnak be, amely lényegébenegy mitokondriális szállítópeptidet kódoló szekvenciát tartalmaz, melyegy (nem általános, CMS-asszociált mitokondriális génnel együtttranszkriptálódó) normális mitokondriális gén átszerkesztett alakjától5'-irányban és azzal azonos leolvasási fázisban van fuzionálva; b)kiválasztják azokat a növényi sejteket, melyek az a) lépés soránfelvették a génkonstrukciót; és c) előidézik a kiválasztott növényekregenerációját, hogy kifejlett növényt hozzanak létre.
