Abstract

The pivot axis is horizontal and located approximately in the central area on the window pane. A pivot aid is formed by a spring device (16) which is telescopically created and with one end is pivotably movable in its fixture to the pane frame (3). With another end (22) it works in conjunction with the niche frame (2). The spring device (16) has at least one main spring (27) and at least one additional spring (28). The main spring acts over the entire positioning path of the spring device and the additional spring supporting the positioning force of the main spring acts only over a section of the positioning path.
