Abstract

The railway track structure has rails (6) arranged in pairs and, arranged transversely to the rails and connected thereto, sleepers (5) which bear with their end sections on a foundation plate (2) via elastic intermediate layers (7). Provided between the sleepers (5) are intermediate bodies (13) which are connected to the foundation plate (2). The intermediate bodies (13) which are made of concrete are designed as factory-finished elements. The cross-sectional contour of the intermediate bodies (13) is trapezoidal. The cheeks adjacent to the end sections of the sleepers (5) converge downwardly. The length of the intermediate bodies (13) is the same as or slightly smaller than the length of the sections of the sleeper (5) which project outwards seen from the rails (6). These intermediate bodies (13) are screwed together with the foundation plate. Elastic wedges (22) lie between the adjacent cheeks of the end sections of the sleepers (5) and the intermediate bodies (13). The intermediate bodies (13) are passed through by a vertical continuous bore, which lies in the central region, for receiving a fastening screw (9) which can be anchored in the foundation plate (2). The direct surrounding region of the vertical bore passing through the intermediate body (13) is sunk in relation to the surface of the intermediate body (13). <IMAGE>
