Svrha ovog izuma je stvoriti uređaj za potporu sredstvima za namatanje u strojevima za namatanje na špule/ koji bi zahvaljujući svojoj elastičnoj strukturi bio sposoban učinkovito prigušiti sve vibracije kod odmatanja, čak i kod neujednačenog odmatanja, čime se uklanjaju uzroci kvarova i problema tehničke prirode. Prednosti što iz toga proizlaze, uključuju i brzinu rada veću nego je uobičajeno bez kidanja niti, donoseći veću produktivnost i dobru kakvoću odmatanja prede u smislu ujednačenosti i pravilnosti kod napetosti namotajne niti.
