Abstract
The thermal insulation panel (1), of mineral fibers (2) and a bonding agent and especially mineral and/or glass wool, has projecting ribs (10) on at least one main axis direction at the large surfaces (3,4), on the contact zones (5,6) between the insulation and the outer surfaces. The ribs are at equal intervals, with a semi-circular cross section. The core zone (9) is composed of compressed loops (11) of a primary nonwoven felt, with their deflections bonded together in at least one contact zone. The bonding agent is a mixture of phenol, formaldehyde and urea resins.
