Abstract

The invention relates to a ventilation carrying (1) for roof-ridge and roof-arris coverings, in particular consisting of plastic material, having air-passage openings (6), having a border region (4) and having a flexible sealing hip (16) which is provided in the border region (4) and fits closely over the surface of roofing elements. In order to prevent, in a simple manner, dirt, moisture and draughts from entering into the interior of the roof and, at the same time, to achieve a good sealing action between the ventilation capping and the roofing elements, the invention provides that the sealing hip (16) comprises a brush. <IMAGE>
