Abstract

In order, in clean-air technology, to avoid cavities between filter cell and framework, in order to be able to design the connection of the filter cells to the working region of the clean room "smoothly", it is proposed, for a filter wall or ceiling with filter cells (20) inserted in a framework (10) assembled from support profiles (11), each of the filter cells (20) being provided with a circumferential filter cell frame (21) and the support profiles (11) of the framework (10) being designed essentially as T-profiles, the flanges (13) of which as sealing flanges form the bearings for the filter cells (20) and which by means of stud bolts or suspension bolts (16.2) can be rigidly connected to the wall or ceiling of a clean room, that the filter cell frames (21) are formed from side profile sections (22) which have trough-shaped recesses (22.1) to receive the filter pack (23) and which are provided on both sides of the trough-shaped recess (22.1) with continuations (22.2, 22.3), the profile continuation (21.2) of which on the sealing means-side interacts with the associated sealing flange (13) of the corresponding support profile (11) and the profile continuation (22.3) of which on the clamping means-side interacts with clamping means, the projecting length of the profile continuation (22.2) on the sealing means-side being at the most equal to the thickness of the sealing means which is designed as a circumferential sealing profile (32; 33), and the outer projecting length of the sealing flange (13) corresponding at least to the depth of the circumferential trough-shaped recess (22.1). <IMAGE>
