Abstract

Η εφεύρεση αναφέρεται σε διατροφικά συμπληρώματα που περιέχουν στην σύνθεσή τους τα βιοδραστικά συστατικά του καρπού του φυτού αρώνια (Aronia Melanocarpa), σε σταθερή μορφή σε συσκευασία κάψουλας. Τα συμπληρώματα παράγονται με ανάμιξη λυοφιλιομένης αρώνιας σε μορφή σκόνης με βιταμίνες (βιταμίνη D3 και βιταμίνη C) και άλλα βιοενεργά συστατικά που αναφέρονται στην λίστα της EFSA και παρέχουν διατροφικό ισχυρισμό υγείας καθώς επίσης και συστατικών των καρπών των φυτών Akai berry και Garcinia cambogia. Επιπλέον η εφεύρεση αναφέρεται σε μία καινοτόμο μέθοδο παραγωγής του η οποία συνίσταται στην παραγωγή σε μορφή σκόνης του καρπού του φυτού αρώνια που αποτελεί και το βασικό συστατικό σε χαμηλή θερμοκρασία, ξήρανση του μίγματος με κρυογονική τεχνολογία λυοφιλίωσης. Τα καινοτόμα συμπληρώματα σύμφωνα με την παρούσα εφεύρεση πλεονεκτούν έναντι των συμβατικών που παράγονται με ξήρανση υπό θέρμανση διότι διακρίνεται από υψηλή βιολειτουργική αξία και συνδυάζει θετική για τον καταναλωτή βιολογική δράση της αρώνιας σε συνδυασμό με τα θετικά χαρακτηριστικά των βιταμινών, ιχνοστοιχείων αλλά και των συστατικών των καρπών των φυτών Akai berry και Garcinia cambogia.The invention refers to nutritional supplements containing in their composition the bioactive components of the fruit of the aronia plant (Aronia Melanocarpa), in a stable form in capsule packaging. The supplements are produced by mixing freeze-dried aronia in powder form with vitamins (vitamin D3 and vitamin C) and other EFSA-listed bioactive ingredients that provide a nutritional health claim as well as ingredients from the fruits of the Akai berry and Garcinia cambogia plants. In addition, the invention refers to an innovative method of its production which consists in the production in powder form of the fruit of the aronia plant which is also the main ingredient at low temperature, drying the mixture with cryogenic lyophilization technology. The innovative supplements according to the present invention have an advantage over the conventional ones produced by drying under heating because it is distinguished by a high biofunctional value and combines the positive for the consumer biological action of aronia in combination with the positive characteristics of vitamins, trace elements and also the components of the fruits of the Akai berry and Garcinia cambogia plants.

Η παρούσα εφεύρεση αναφέρεται σε πρωτότυπα προϊόντα με βάση φρούτα αρώνιας ( Black Melanocarpa) σε συνδυασμό με άλλα φρούτα, βιταμίνες και ιχνοστοιχεία που προορίζονται για την ανθρώπινη διατροφή. Η παρούσα εφεύρεση και εντάσσεται στη θεματική περιοχή των συμπληρωμάτων διατροφής. The present invention relates to novel products based on chokeberry (Black Melanocarpa) fruits in combination with other fruits, vitamins and trace elements intended for human nutrition. Οι καρποί αρώνια ανήκουν με βάση και τη διεθνή βιβλιογραφία στις λεγάμενες υπερτροφές (superfoods) λόγο του ότι στη σύνθεση τους περιλαμβάνονται βιοδραστικά συστατικά με ευεργετικές δράσεις στην υγεία του ανθρώπου. Η ευεργετική αυτή δράση συνδεέται με την παρουσία φαινολικών ενώσεων στον καρπό και κυρίως με πολυφαινολικές ενώσεις που περιλαμβάνουν τις ανθοκυανίνες, τις προανθοκυανιδίνες, τις φλαβονόλες, τις φλαβανόλες και τα φαινολικά οξέα. Σύμφωνα με το πρόσφατο άρθρο ανασκόπησης με τίτλο "Chokeberry (Aronia melanocarpa) as a new functional food relationship with health: an overview” που δημοσιεύθηκε από τους Yiwen Zhang, κ.α. στο περιοδικό«Journal of Future Foods, (2021) 1 : 168-178 οι προαναφερθείσες βιοδραστικές ουσίες μπορούν να προσφέρουν σημαντικά οφέλη στην ανθρώπινη υγεία προστατεύοντας τον οργανισμό έναντι του οξειδωτικού stress και των ελεύθερων ριζών παρέχοντας αντικαρκινική και αντιγηραντική δράση αλλά και προστατεύοντας από ασθένειες του μεταβολικού συνδρόμου όπως οι καρδιαγγειακές, ο σακχαρώδης διαβήτης τύπου 2, η υπέρταση, η υπερλιπιδαιμία και η υπερχοληστερολαιμία. Οι καρποί λόγω της πικρής γεύσης τους σπάνια καταναλώνονται φρέσκοι ενώ ταυτόχρονα ο μικρός χρόνος διατηρησιμότητας των νωπών φρούτων και το μεγάλο κόστος διατήρησης τους υπό κατάψυξη αποτελούν αρνητικές παραμέτρους στην αποθήκευση και διατήρηση των καρπών. Από την άλλη οι συμβατικές μέθοδοι ξήρανσης δεν διασφαλίζουν τη βιοδραστικότητα των παραγόμενων αποξηραμένων προϊόντων λόγω της ευαισθησίας των πολυφαινολικών ουσιών στις υψηλές θερμοκρασίες στις οποίες και χάνουν σε μεγάλο βαθμό τη βιοδραστικότητά τους. Επιπλέον, οι συγκεντρώσεις των ανθοκυανινών από την αρώνια αλλά και από βιοδραστικά συστατικά των καρπών akai berry και garcinia cambogia παρέχουν μια σύνθεση συμπληρώματος διατροφής που μπορεί να προάγει την απώλεια βάρους και της διαχείριση του λίπους καθώς και άλλα οφέλη για την υγεία. According to the recent review article entitled "Chokeberry (Aronia melanocarpa) as a new functional food relationship with health: an overview” published by Yiwen Zhang, et al. in the journal "Journal of Future Foods, (2021) 1: 168-178 the aforementioned bioactive substances can offer significant benefits to human health by protecting the body against oxidative stress and free radicals, providing anticancer and antiaging effects, as well as protecting against metabolic syndrome diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, type 2 diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia and hypercholesterolemia. The fruits, due to their bitter taste, are rarely consumed fresh, while at the same time the short shelf life of fresh fruits and the high cost of keeping them frozen are negative parameters in the storage and preservation of fruits. On the other hand, conventional drying methods do not ensure the bioactivity of the produced dried products due to the sensitivity of polyphenolic substances to high temperatures at which they largely lose their bioactivity. In addition, the concentrations of anthocyanins from aronia as well as bioactive components of akai berry and garcinia cambogia provide a dietary supplement composition that may promote weight loss and fat management as well as other health benefits.

Claims

1. Product in freeze-dried form based on chokeberry (Aronia Melanocarpa) and the addition of other bioactive ingredients for use as a dietary supplement and the promotion of human health.

2. Product according to claim 1, characterized in that it is prepared with at least 150 mg of freeze-dried aronia, which results in its quality characteristics being maintained for a longer period of time and creating products of high added value.

3. Product according to claim 1, characterized in that it is prepared with at least 100 mg of freeze-dried aronia and with the addition of vitamin C, D and probiotics (at least 1 Billion) and with the recommended dose of 2 capsules per day (one in the morning and one in the evening) for a period of at least 4 weeks.

Product according to claim 1, characterized in that it is prepared with fruit extracts (Akai Berry, Gareinia eambogia) and probiotics and coenzymes (at least 1 Billion) and with the recommended dose of 2 capsules per day (one in the morning and one in the evening) for a period of at least 4 weeks.
