Abstract
Περιγράφονται εδώ ανιχνευτές νουκλεϊνικού οξέος οι οποίοι μπορούν να ανιχνεύσουν ανθρώπινους παθογόνους μικροοργανισμούς SALMONELLA. Οι ανιχνευτές δημιουργούνται από νουκλεοτιδικές αλληλουχίες του γένους που κωδικοποιεί ένα λιομογόνο παραγοντα ενεχόμενο στην παθογενεσία της SALMONELLA, ειδικά της τύπου Ι κροσσωτής πρωτεϊνης. Τα περισσότερο προτιμητέα μήκη των ανιχνευτών εκτείνονται από περίπου 20 μέχρι περίπου 100 νουκλεοτιδικές βάσεις σε μήκος. Οι ανιχνευτές είναι εξαιρετικά ειδικοί και ευαίσθητοι για την ανίχνευση παθογόνων για τον άνθρωπο οργανισμών. Είναι κατά τον τρόπο αυτό κλινικά χρήσιμοι στην ανίχνευση της μόλυνσης σε δείγματα διάρροιας. Επιπλέον, μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθούν στην ανίχνευση της φερόμενης από το αίμα SALMONELLA, αιτιολογικός παράγοντας των περισσοτέρων σαλμονελλώσεων στον άνθρωπο. ω
