According to the invention ammonical solution is added to washing water up to pH=7.7-8. The sediment formed therefrom, which contains zinc hydroxide, zinc oxide and powder of metallic zinc is dried at 140-150 C and calculated quantity of ammonium chloride is added thereto and the obtained mixture is used for preparing working melt.
