[Also in Divisions F2 and H2] A pressure-tight housing for electrical apparatus comprises two parts, 1, 2 joined together by a bayonet fastening having teeth 4, 5 and is characterised in that a tapered portion 3 on the part 1 is arranged to be elastically deformable, under pressure, to engage a thickened, rigid, annular portion 6 on the part 2. Two of the teeth 4<SP>1</SP>, 5<SP>1</SP> are smaller than the others so that the parts may be located in one position only. The two parts are held in engagement by a screw-operated cam 8 attached to the part 2 and arranged to engage a projection 10 on the part 1.
