Abstract

Butt joints of stainless steel or superalloys are brazed with a Cu-Mn brazing alloy (containing not less than 20% Mn) to which has been added 5-25% Co. The Cu content of the alloy is preferably 45-75% and it may also contain 5-25% Ni.
