The necessary density and grain shape are obtained by impact milling.ALSO:A grinding wheel is formed by hot pressing a composition containing abrasive grain of a bulk density of at least 1.99 formed from a fused mixture of alumina and 5-30 zirconia, a thermo-setting resin, e.g. phenol formaldehyde, and fillers, e.g. pyrites, cryolite, lime and sodium chloride.
