In a prefabricated, demountable garage comprising bearers 2 resting on recessed foundation pillars 1 and carrying wall plates 3 which are staggered relative to one another and half their thickness so as to provide partial overlaps forming joints and are releasably connected to an upper frame 4 of angle members carrying a roof skin 5, the wall plates are grooved at 9 to releasably engage a rib 8 of the bearer and overlaps same at 11 to define a water-tight joint. The wall plates abut corner plates 10 and are slotted to receive bolts welded to the upper frame. For materials employed the Specification should be referred to.
