991,427. Building elements. V. JOWETT. July 4, 1963 [July 7, 1962], No. 26147/62. Headings E1J, E1K, and E1V. Building elements are formed from anglesection metal members spaced apart to form a three-dimensional framework, the elements being bolted together to form a rigid wall structure. In Fig. 1, the elements are bolted together via slots a<SP>4</SP> as shown, or by bolts passing through adjacent parallel flanges of members a or a<SP>2</SP> (Figs. 2-4, not shown). Triangularly shaped and half- or quarter-sized elements can be formed, for use in gable ends. A lathed frame C (Fig. 6) may be attached to an element, and a cement plaster interior finish, or a pebble-dash exterior finish applied thereto. A wooden frame D (Fig. 7) may be bolted within the element to support a hardboard sheet, or glazing may be incorporated between slotted glazing bars D<SP>1</SP> (Fig. 8), attached to the element.
