Abstract

991,289. Cigar and cigarette holders. BOFIL S.r.1. June 16, 1961 [June 18, 1960], No. 21870/61. Heading A2M. A holder for cigars or cigarettes with a telescopic stub ejector mechanism has a filter D integral with a mouthpiece B and replaceable as a whole. The combined unit B and D is retained within an outer tube A by a spigot 10 screwed into a socket 12 which is an extension of a spring loaded ejector tube 14. Splines on a collar 20 running in grooves 22 prevent rotation of the tube 14. In another embodiment the unit A and D is retained within the outer tube A by friction between them.
