[Also in Division HI] An electric heating resistance element comprises a path of resistive material, e.g. 80/20 nickel-chromium, deposited as by flame-spraying on a heat-resistant insulating, e.g. ceramic, layer formed on a metal base plate. Insulating layers and resistance elements may be formed on both sides of the plate, the elements being separate or connected in series or parallel.
