988,557. Clothes hoists. HILLS HOISTS (MANUFACTURING) PTY. Ltd. Aug. 6, 1963 [Aug. 3, 1962], No. 31055/63. Heading A4U. A rotary clothes hoist has a tubular standard 10, a head 19 rotatable thereon, stays 32 pivoted to the head, bushes 35, 36 slidable on the standard and an arm ring 34 rotatable on the bushes and having arms 28 pivoted thereto and to the stays. The hoist is held in erect position by a latch member 38 engaging a flange 37 and the head 19 is held at the top of the standard by removable pins passing through rings 17.
