Abstract
987,268. Thermionic valves. SPACE TECHNOLOGY LABORATORIES Inc. March 23, 1962 [April 20, 1961], No. 11277/62. Drawings to Specification. Heading H1D. [Also in Division H3] In a pulse generating circuit (see Division H3) the shield electrode of a conventional thyratron of the type 2D21 is used as the control electrode whilst the conventional control electrode is biased to 800V and used as the primary anode. The electrode which is normally the main anode is biased to 1200V and used as a secondary anode, secondary emission from this anode being collected by the primary anode. Fig. 2 (not shown) relates to the potential distribution in the tube.
