Abstract

985,851. Dry shavers. SPERRY RAND CORPORATION. June 5, 1963 [June 18, 1962], No. 22376/63. Addition to 904,810. Heading B4B. The dry shaver of the parent Specification is modified in that an end bell 46 for the drive motor 35 has legs 52 provided with (a) recesses 54 which engage projections 55 on the inner surface of the shaver casing and (b) bearings 57 formed with guide ribs 58 which support the leg portions of the drive member for the inner cutters 28 of the cutter head assembly 22. The bell 46 has lugs 45 which engage apertures 44 in the motor frame and an annulus 48 which receives the bearing 49 of motor shaft 51. Specification 798,757 also is referred to.
