[Also in Division E2] A sealing bellows 3 for a ball joint has a larger opening adapted to bear against the casing 1 of the joint and a smaller opening adapted to encircle the ball shaft 2, a single one - piece ring 5 having a flat inner surface being disposed in the smaller opening to form a seal between the bellows and the shaft, the ring being held against rotation relative to the smaller opening and locked by its shape in the opening against movement in both axial directions relative to the opening. The ring is preferably made of synthetic plastic, and its outer surface is interlocked with the inner surface of the bellows opening by means of an annular radial projection on one surface which engages between two annular radial projections on the other surface.
