Abstract

984,606. Elevated flooring. H. H. ROBERTSON (HOLDINGS) Ltd. Aug. 12, 1963 [May 18, 1962], No. 19172/62. Heading E1V. A supporting stool for modular flooring comprises a base plate 10 with an aperture 12a whereby it may be fitted over a holding-down bolt or the like, a vertical tubular member 13 welded or otherwise secured to the plate 10 concentricwith the aperture 12a, a screw threaded tubular member 15 which is adjustably associated with the member 13 and an apertured plate 16 welded or otherwise secured to the top end of the member 15. The plate 16 has an electrically insulating cap-piece 17 having an oversize recess 17a to receive the plate 16 and a top surface with webs 17b to form seatings for the corners of the floor modules to be supported.
