Abstract

980,520. Roof trimming strips. G. J, SNELL, and J. F. C. GRANDI. May 31. 1963 [July 5, 1962], No. 25871/62. Heading E1V. An eves trimming strip for use with feltcovered roofs is of synthetic resin extruded in a T-form having a cross member 2 and a central limb 3 which is thickened at its junction with the cross member to provide an inclined surface 6 which together with a lateral arm 4 on the cross member 2 defines an inclined pocket 5 to receive the roofing felt. The upper surface of the central limb 3 may be ridged, serrated or corrugated outside the pocket 5. The outer face of the cross member 2 may be of shallow V section, or of ogee section or other ornamental form.
