Class 20(4) A roof decking 11 is covered with a fibre material 12, e.g. glass fibre, which is then impregnated with a polymerizable resin, e.g. polyester resin, which penetrates at least partly through the decking, after which the fibre material is covered with small stones before the resin sets so that the stones become bonded to the fibre and the fibre to the decking. The fibre material may be extended upwardly against a wall to form a flashing between the roof and the wall, Fig. 3 (not shown) and may also be applied over a raised lip at the edge of a flat roof, Fig. 4 (not shown).
