978,327. Suspending curtains. SOLARBO (PELMETS) Ltd. Dec. 13, 1963 [Dec. 20, 1962]. No. 48093/62. Heading A4B. A board 9 having parallel slotted channels 10 for the slidable reception of runner elements 11 and having a pelmet 12 is frictionally retained between the limbs 2, 4 of a bracket 1 secured to a wall 7 by screws 8, the bracket being formed by bending a rectangular strip to form the first limb 2 and doubling the strip to form a further limb 4. In a modification the first limb is also doubled to render it resilient. A resilient pad or spring (not shown) may be inserted within the channel to assist in the frictional retention of board 9.
