Abstract

974,845. Drawer runners. H. LIENER-KUNDE. Feb. 20, 1962 [Feb. 24, 1961], No. 6449/62. Heading A4B. A drawer 5 (Figs. 1, 2) is mounted beneath a shelf 10 with guide bars 6 engaging a rail 1 provided at both ends with holding members 8 having hook-like ends 9 for attaching over opposed shelf edges, at least one holding member 8 being movable in the rail 1 against the action of a draw-spring 7 and the holding members 8 being formed of spring strip to urge the hook ends 9 resiliently towards the upper face of the rail 1. A drawer stop 11 is provided. In another embodiment (Fig. 5), one holding member 20 is adjustably fixed to the rail 1 and the other holding member 23 is provided with an extension 23a and is movable within the rail 1 to accommodate shelves of various widths.
