Abstract

866,583. Suspending curtains. INSULARBO Ltd. Sept. 14, 1959 [Sept. 15, 1958], No. 29461/58. Class 52(5). Curtain-supporting means comprises a main member 1 including a horizontal board formed with two parallel slotted channels 3, 4 for the reception of runner elements 12 not shown, and end members 5, 6 hingedly, detachably or permanently fixed to the ends of the main member 1, one end member 5 having a single rearwardly curved slotted channel 5b leading from one of the channels 3 in the main member, and the other main member having a single rearwardly curved slotted channel 6b leading from the other slotted channel 4 in the main member. Anchorage means for the ends of the curtains are formed by sharply curved reversed portions 5c, 6c at the ends of the channels 5b, 6b respectively. When the end members 5, 6 cannot be moved, the runner elements 12 are inserted or removed through holes 7, 8 formed in the channels 3, 4. Stops 9 are provided in case the anchorage means 5c, 6c become inoperative. A third parallel slotted channel 10 is provided in the main member 1 for the suspension of net curtains.
