Abstract

Preparation of a feed supplement involves ensiling sea animal material or waste to convert it to liquid condition and absorbing the liquid in dried, ground sea plant material. According to the example, 60 kg. of shark is liquefied by mixing with 3 kg. of sulphuric acid, and then 40 kg. of dried, finely ground seaweed is incorporated. Specification 488,704 is referred to.
