[Also in Division A2] In a method of feeding tempered chocolate to a chocolate enrober, the chocolate is capable of circulation in two systems, one system including a pump 9 for feeding chocolate from a collecting tank 8 to an enrobing head 20, the excess chocolate from the enrobing head returning to the tank 8, and the other system comprising a pump (not shown) a heating and storage container 3 and a cooler 4. The two systems are connected by a pipe 6 containing a valve 7 which is regulated so that the quality of chocolate supplied is almost equal to the quantity used in the enrober. Excess chocolate in the tank 8 is returned to a main storage container 1 by a pump 11. In a modification (Fig. 2, not shown) the pump 11 delivers the excess chocolate direct to pipe 2. In Fig. 3 (not shown) an arrangement is shown for automatically controlling the valve 7 (marked 18 in Fig. 3) by a weighing device connected to an overflow from tank 8.
