[Also in Division B8] A liner for a metal screw cap comprises a sheet of resilient polyethylene of 0.02-0.26 inch in thickness bonded by an adhesive to a sheet of lead of 0.0005-0.0200 inch in thickness. The lead sheet contacts the neck of the container as in Fig. 1 (not shown). A suitable adhesive is a mixture of a liquid epoxy resin and a rubber latex diluted to a suitable consistency with toluene.
