A gasoline anti-knock concentrate comprises tetramethyl lead, ethylene or propylene dibromide and dichloride and an alkane or atomatic hydrocarbon liquid of boiling point 90 DEG -150 DEG C. Toluene and iso-octane are specified hydrocarbons. Optional additives are phenols, phosphates, dyes, kerosene and metal carbonyls and nitrosyls, suitable compounds being given.
