A cleaning and shearing machine for textile fabrics of mixed wool and polyester fibres has at least two shearing tools disposed one behind the other in the direction of conveyance of the fabric and a shearing table associated with each tool, the first shearing tool 10 serving to treat one side of the fabric and having as a support for the fabric a hollow table 13 and at least one further shearing tool 14 serving to treat the other side of the fabric and having a printed table 16 associated therewith. Preferably the tool 10 treats the wrong side of the fabric and the tool 14 the right side.
