Abstract

868,166. Finishing fabrics. SOC. RHODIACETA. April 27, 1959 [Nov. 28, 1958], No. 14309/59. Class 42 (1). In a process for the treatment of fabrics containing at least 35% by weight of synthetic fibres blended with wool, the fabrics are subjected to brushing, shearing and milling in that order. The synthetic fibre content may be increased up to 65% and they may be fibres of a polyester, polyethylene terephthalate, a polyamide, polyhexamethylene adipamide, &c. A singeing operation may be interposed between the shearing and the milling.
