[Also in Division B8] A conveyer system comprises a continuous overhead rail (not shown) of round cross-section, supporting a plurality of rodlike carriers 1, Fig. 1, each having an upper hook 2 provided with ball-bearing wheels 6, 7 having their axes disposed at approximately 90 degrees to each other to engage the upper side of the rail and a lower hook 3 to carry a load, e.g. a laundry bag, the hooks being swivelled together at 4 about a vertical axis. If desired, the hook 2 may be provided with a single wheel rotatable about a horizontal axis or the wheel perimeter may be concave to assist in positioning it on top of the rail, the two sides of the hook 2 retaining the carrier laterally.
