Abstract

974,676. Powder &c. blowers. KAHLER & CO. I.S. June 21, 1962, No. 23963/62. Heading B2F. Granules of heat-insulating fibre, contained in a hopper 5, are injected through a pipe 3 into building cavities as a suspension in air which is drawn into the suction pipe 4 of the blower 1 which impels the material along the pipe. The granules are fed to the suction pipe 4 by a rotary table 6, having projections 10, on to which they drop through a wide mesh screen 7, being spread on the table by a conical surface 14 on the shaft 12. Above the screen 7 is a stirrer 13 for pushing the material through the screen.
