Abstract

[Also in Division B1] A piston comprises sealing rings 20 and a chamber 39 therebetween adapted to be filled with oil by means of a duct normally closed by plug 40; air is released at 41. The arrangement prevents ingress of any gas into evacuated cylinder 4. Specification 956, 711 is referred to.
