Abstract

The invention relates to diazonium compounds of the formula <FORM:0972951/C1/1> in which R1 and R2 are chlorine or bromine atoms, X is an anion and the cyclohexyl group may be substituted by one or more methyl groups. A series of reactions by which the compounds may be prepared from 4-nitro -2- chloroniline is summarized. The products are useful in diazotype photography (see Division G2). Specifications 957,836 and 957,838 are referred to.
