Abstract

971,944. Filing papers. H. LAUER. May 27, 1963 [May 26, 1962], No. 21088/63. Heading B6E. A plurality of sectorshaped boxes open at the top and front edges and having upwardly directed lugs 18 at their rear edges, are mounted on a circular platform 24 and held in position by a flanged plate 25 co-operating with the lugs 18. The platform 24 and plate 25 are secured to a tube 21 rotatably mounted on a vertical shaft 20. The surface of the platform is inclined upwardly to support the boxes at an angle α or is horizontal. Bow springs 16 are attached to the inside of the side walls of each box to hold the contents of each box in position. The front edges of each box are cut away at 15 to facilitate handling of said contents. A plurality of platforms 24 and co-operating plates 25 may be mounted on the shaft 20, the platforms being independently rotatable, or otherwise.
