Abstract
967,907. Road spraying apparatus. PHOENIX ENGINEERING CO. Ltd. April 22, 1963 [July 30, 1962], No. 29097/62. Heading E1G. [Also in Division F2] In a valve for controlling the supply of bitumen from an inlet 4 to a spraybar 6 attached to a rotatable valve body 1, the main spraybar 5 is supplied from stationary plugs 2 via the extension 6 when this is in the horizontal operative position. Bitumen flow to the extension 6 is obturated as this is rotated upon the body 1 to the vertical position and a supply to the main spraybar 5 is continued via a pocket 7 in the valve body connecting the inlet and outlet of plug 2.
