Abstract

In the coating of a metal float by spraying with a P.V.C plastisol or the production of a lined glove by placing a knitted fabric lining on a metal former and then dipping in a plastisol, the gellation of the plastisol is effected by contacting it with a hot liquid, e.g. ethylene glycol, glycol or triethanolamine.ALSO:A lined glove is made by immersing a former in a p.v.c plastisol and then passing the former through a field of charged fibres of cellulose acetate. The p.v.c. is then gelled in a heated glycerol bath. A lined glove may also be made by placing a knitted fabric lining over a metal former and then dipping in a plastisol.
