Abstract

The invention comprises compounds of formula: <FORM:0965089/C1/1> wherein X is Cl or Br; R1, R2, R3 and R4 are allyl, up to C8 hydroxy-, alkoxy-, alkylmercapto, or cycloalkyl-alkyl, cycloalkyl, phenyl or phenyl-alkyl in which the phenyl group may be substituted by Cl, Br, Me, Et, MeO or Eto, up to C9 phenylalkoxyalkyl, furfuryl or tetrahydrofurfuryl; additionally R1 may be H and R3 and R4 may be H or up to C8 alkyl or -NR1, R2, -NR3R4 may be pyrrolidino, piperidino or morpholino. The invention comprises also a process for making such compounds as well as those in which R1, R2, R3 and R4 may be generally H or up to C8 alkyl, by reacting a dihalobenzene disulphohalide of formula: <FORM:0965089/C1/2> with HNR3R4 and reacting the dihalobenzene disulphonamide thus obtained with HNR1R2. Examples are given. Belgian Specification 564,006 is referred to.
