Abstract

964,751. Reservoir pads. T. PAUL. Oct. 11, 1962 [Oct. 26, 1961; Aug. 14, 1962], No. 38582/62. Heading A4K. On squeezing rubber bulb 1 inwardly, soap solution is fed from reservoir 3<SP>1</SP>, through duct 4, into detachable sponge 6. A screw-threaded cap 2 is tightly applied to form an annular seal between bulb 1 and plastic handle 3. The sponge 6 is carried on a resilient plastic sleeve 7 having a constriction which snaps into an annular groove 10 in the handle. The sleeve is prevented from rotating about the handle. The sponge may be fitted with a removable plastic or wire net to give it an abrasive action.
