961,831. Vertical pipe-casting machines. SKANSKA CEMENTGJUTERIET A.B. June 12, 1963 [June 25, 1962], No. 23455/63. Heading B5A. [Also in Division F2] The core 2 of a pipe-casting machine is vibrated by eccentric weights 14, 14<SP>1</SP> and 16, the weights 14, 14<SP>1</SP> and 16 being driven in opposite directions by a tubular shaft and an inner shaft (see Fig. 2, not shown), both driven from a motor 8. Flexible clutches 10 are provided between each weight. Alternatively, the shafts may be mounted side by side and driven from a common or separate motors. The shafts may be driven at different speeds. The apparatus is supported by rubber blocks 4.
