A sunlight reflective flexible sheet material has an embossed transparent synthetic plastic layer e.g. polyethylene terephthalate, and a multi-faceted metallic sunlight-reflective surface which faces towards the transparent layer for reflecting sun's rays transmitted thereto through said layer, back through and out of said layer. A protective backing of a vinyl synthetic plastic is given to the metallic layer. The metallic layer may be particles of aluminium deposited on to the under surface of the transparent layer.
