A yielding mine roof support framework including segments 1, 2 interconnected by clamps 3, 4 is provided with at least one hydraulic connecting device 6, 8 which is inserted between the clamp connections and is adjustably set to a predetermined carrying capacity as by means of a high-pressure relief valve 11.
