Abstract

A pipe is made of 5 to 95% by weight of a polyolefine and 95% to 5% by weight of a filler, preferably 30% to 50% of polyolefine and 70% to 50% of a filler. The polyolefine can be polyethylene or polypropylene and the filler can be silica; clays; carbon black; glass fibre particles; asbestos; metal powder; or other metal compounds, e.g. calcium carbonate or barium sulphate. Antioxidants and/or stabilizers can also be used in the composition. Specification 914,850 is referred to.
