Abstract

959,581. Toys. M. AMSLER. Nov. 21, 1960 [Feb. 22, 1960; Aug. 15, 1960], No. 40007/60. Heading A6S. A building block kit comprises hollow bodies open at the lower surface and with inner ribs and outer ledges which removably engage in parallel grooves of elongated connector elements. The hollow elements 15 are provided with inner rib means 20 and outer ledge portions 17. The ledge portions have bosses 19 on one side which alternate with bosses 19a on the other side. The ribs and ledge portions seat in parallel undercut grooves 27 in elongated connecting elements 25. The ledge portions may extend round the corners only of the hollow elements 15. The grooves 27 in the connecting elements 25 may terminate near the middle. The elements may be centrally bored with the grooves 27 opening into the bore. The axle part 11b of a wheeled-vehicle comprises two similar interconnected members, the end seating in a groove 27. The elements may be made of resilient plastics material.
