Abstract

1,161,727. Building brick. A. FISCHER. 16 Jan., 1968 [25 Jean, 1967], No. 2355/68. Heading A6S. A building brick (I) for incorporation in a constructional toy or model is provided with re-entrant grooves (2) and at least one re-entrant tenon (4) for interlocking engagement with tenons or grooves of similar bricks. The tenon is square in cross section and has a slot or recess (7) extending diagonally across its end 'face (6), the dimensions of the slot or recess being such as to penmit resilient deformation of the tenon sufficient to enable rotation of the tenon in a mating groove under the influence of a twisting force, without breakage of the tenon. The brick is preferably made of a resilient synthetic plastics material.
