459,452. Toys. PREMO RUBBER CO., Ltd., and LEVY, A., Petersfield, Hampshire. July 5, 1935, No. 19300. [Class 132 (iii)] Toy building blocks or bricks arc apertured for the reception of connecting pegs provided separately or on the blocks, either or both of the blocks and pegs being formed of resilient material, and smaller apertures are formed in the blocks for the reception of lugs extending from a model window frame, door, or like structural member. In the construction shown in Figs. 1, 2, and 3, the blocks 15 are moulded from rubber and are provided with pegs 16 for engagement with apertures 17 in an adjacent block, and the blocks are also provided with smaller apertures 18 for the reception of lugs 20 on a door or window frame 19. Fixed windows are provided by providing more than one pair of lugs. In the construction shown in Fig. 4, the blocks 15 are connected by a separate peg 25 provided with an enlarged head 23 at each end for engagement with beaded recesses 21 in the blocks. The blocks are of substantially the same proportions and colour as ordinary bricks and may be made in single brick lengths or in longer or shorter lengths. The lengths may be formed with indentations to represent gaps between the bricks for subsequent subdivision. The blocks may be formed of wood and the pegs of rubber or vice versa. The pegs may be of round, square, or other crosssection.
